Why am I using OneDrive?

- Have all my files available on various machines, Windows, iOS, MacOS
- Share single files or directories with other people without password needs
- I have a terabyte of storage as part of my MS365 license
Why do I want to get rid of the OneDrive storage?
- Independence of big (US) companies
- Avoid analytics on my data
What else do I expect from my new file storage platform?
- Backup of entire machine
- Searchability extensions (full text search in all files)
- Backup/Restore concept of the instance itself

- German, EU-located, opensource project
- Stores metadata together with data (simple backup concept)
- Lightweight
- Docker compose as main installation path recommended by developer
